Drop your thoughts, ideas, quantities, deadlines, and inspiration pictures in our contact form below, or email us directly at tpl@theplatedlab.com. Whether it's a rough sketch, a list of custom names, or a fully formed design, we'll take your spark and run with it.

Confirm details + approve layout

We’ll review your request, have a quick chat to confirm the timeline/pricing, and email you a digital mockup of your design layout. This lets you double-check the fonts, spelling, and placement so you know exactly what your piece looks like.

Secure your spot + make it yours

Once you approve the design, we'll email your invoice. A deposit is required to secure your spot on our production calendar and lock in your materials. As soon as that is squared away, your piece officially goes straight into production in the Lab!

Your order is complete

We will notify you as soon as your custom piece is completed. Please note that full balance payment is required upon completion; orders will not be released for local pickup (in Sicklerville, NJ) or shipped until the final invoice is paid in full.

Frequently asked questions

Custom pricing is tailored specifically to the unqiue details of each project rather than a flat rate. We calculate your final quote using a combination of the material choice, total laser processing time, and design complexity.

Custom orders can take anywhere from 5-14 days depending on materials, complexity, and current work volume.

Sometimes. Rush availability depends on my production schedule. If I'm able to accommodate it, a rush order fee will apply.

Because items are personalized, all sales are final. If something arrives damaged or there's an issue, email me right away and I'll make it right.
