Thank you for supporting The Plated Lab! This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, and delivered when you purchase through theplatedlab.com.
1. Order Processing & Production Time

Standard Processing: Non-custom orders are typically prepared and packaged within 5–7 business days after payment is confirmed.

Custom & Personalized Items: Because our custom products are made-to-order, please allow 5–7 business daysfor design and production before your item ships.

Note: Business days do not include weekends or major holidays.

Delays: If we anticipate a significant delay in your production timeline (e.g., supply or material delays), we will contact you immediately via the email provided at checkout to provide an updated timeline or a resolution as required by federal law.
2. Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to addresses within the United States.

We do not offer international shipping at this time.
3. Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated automatically at checkout and vary based on:

The delivery destination

Package weight and box dimensions

The specific shipping method selected
Any active free shipping promotions (if offered) will be applied at checkout and may require a minimum purchase threshold.
4. Delivery Estimates (Transit Time)
Delivery estimates begin once your order actually ships, not from the date the order was placed.

Standard Shipping (US): 2–7 business days

Expedited Shipping (US): 1–3 business days
Please note that actual delivery windows may vary due to carrier delays, severe weather, holidays, and other factors outside of our control.
5. Tracking Information
Once your order has been packaged and a shipping label is created, we will email your tracking details to you. Please allow 24–48 hours for tracking updates to populate within the carrier’s tracking system.
6. Incorrect Address & Undeliverable Packages
Please double-check your shipping address carefully at checkout. If a package is returned to us by the carrier due to an incorrect or incomplete address, or because it was deemed undeliverable:

The customer will be responsible for a reshipment fee to mail it a second time.

Original delivery windows will no longer apply, and transit times will be extended.
7. Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Packages

Carrier Delays: Delays can happen during transit and are outside our direct control. If your tracking hasn't updated in several days, please reach out and we will gladly help look into it with the carrier.

Lost Packages: If a package is officially confirmed as lost by the carrier, we will work with you to arrange a replacement or refund, as appropriate.

Marked "Delivered" But Missing: If the tracking states the package was delivered but you cannot find it, please check around your property, with household members, and with your neighbors first. If it is still missing, contact your local post office or carrier branch immediately. The Plated Lab is not responsible for packages stolen after a confirmed delivery.
8. Damaged Items During Shipping
If your order arrives damaged from transit, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at tpl@theplatedlab.com with:

Clear photos of the damaged item and the shipping packaging it arrived in
We will prioritize a remake/replacement for you, or issue a store credit/refund where a replacement isn't possible.
9. Local Pickup
If local pickup is available for your order, the option will appear dynamically at checkout.

Detailed pickup instructions, address, and timing options will be emailed to you as soon as your order is ready.

Abandonment Policy: Orders not picked up within 14 days of the readiness notification may be canceled at our discretion. For custom or personalized orders, any deposit or payment made is forfeited to cover the cost of materials and labor.
